E Circles
Empowerment Circles (E-Circles) are created to provide a safe, confidential and nurturing environment where each woman is supported in expressing her feelings and speaking her truth.
Woman Within’s Vision for E-Circle: “As a community of women, we envision the Empowerment Circle to be a circle of women which assumes accountability and gives and receives encouragement, guidance and support so that each woman feels empowered within the group to reach her potential as a whole woman.”
My E-Circle isn’t a place to bitch about things but a space to be nurtured and supported and to ask for what I need, and to be able to give that in return to a woman if that is needed. E-Circle is a place to be authentic - our relationships within our Circle can experience difficulties and conflict but these are worked through and I come out of the experience feeling even more connected to the women”
E-Circle member since 2005
An E-Circle meets regularly at a time and place specified by the group members.
Women who participate in a Empowerment Circle Weekend Intensive or a Woman Within Weekend Training have the opportunity to subsequently become part of an E-Circle.
E-Circle Intensive participants are encouraged to form their own E-Circle with women they shared their weekend experience with to remain connected and so they can continue to support and challenge each other.
Women who have not experienced an E-Circle Intensive or WW Training Weekend and would like to get a ‘taste’ of what E-Circles have to offer are welcome to come along to an existing open E-Circle.
Empower Women NZ have several E-Circles currently running throughout Auckland and Christchurch.
