On the Empowerment Circle Weekend Intensive:
Attending this course was way outside of my comfort zone, I felt I needed to startle myself into change, I was dissatisfied with my life – I knew there was MORE … Surrounded by women dealing with their own trials and engaging one another in organised discussion helped me understand where I’d been and why – this experience was both alarming and relieving … The guiding women were encouraging, inspiring and accepting … I learnt I am the master of my own ship, I realised I’d steered myself into some bloody big storms, I’d shipwrecked myself a number of times, I’d been resourceful and constructed a couple of rafts and floated around aimlessly without charts and hoping for the best. I now feel like I’ve got a far superior boat, i read the weather better, I’ve charted my course – I know where my destination lies
